New Construction Payment Policies

Payment Terms

 All new construction projects are billed based on agreed-upon terms outlined in the project contract or proposal.

– A deposit may be required prior to project start
– Progress payments are due at defined project milestones
– Final payment is due upon completion of work

Payment schedules will be clearly defined before work begins and must be adhered to in order to maintain project timelines.

Progress Billing

 For larger projects, progress billing will be implemented to align with work completed.

– Billing may occur weekly, bi-weekly, or per phase
– Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise specified in writing
– Failure to make timely payments may result in work stoppage

Change Orders

 Any work requested outside of the original scope must be approved through a written change order.

– All change orders will include updated pricing
– Additional work will not begin without approval
– Payment for change orders may be required upfront or added to the next invoice

Late Payments

 Timely payment is critical to maintaining project schedules and resource allocation.

– Late payments may be subject to additional fees
– Work may be paused until the account is brought current
– Re-mobilization may result in additional charges

Material & Equipment Costs

 Due to fluctuating material costs, pricing is subject to change if delays occur outside of our control.

– Materials may require upfront payment
– Special-order items must be paid in advance
– Pricing is based on current market conditions

Lien Rights & Protection

 N-Sink Plumbing & Drain Specialists reserves the right to protect its financial interest in all projects.

– Preliminary notices may be filed where applicable
– Mechanics lien rights will be enforced if payment is not received
– All legal remedies will be pursued if necessary

Project Delays & Scheduling

 Project timelines are dependent on coordination between trades and timely payments.

– Delays caused by non-payment may impact scheduling
– Re-scheduling may incur additional costs
– We are not responsible for delays caused by other trades or unforeseen conditions
